Jon Macapodi is a photographer based in New York, New York. He chases and creates light, obsesses over color, and works to create a compelling narrative through his images. Jon’s distinct style and vibrant palette are informed by his romanticized neon love for all things 80’s, while his eye for classic silhouettes and strong composition are inspired by the legendary fashion photographers of the 90’s. However, his true skill as an artist lies in his ability to connect with everyone he photographs; drawing out and directing the beauty he sees in them. On his days off, he’s usually busy making the perfect cup of coffee, playing a synthesizer, or volunteering at Movement NYC.
